COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan

This is an unprecedented time for everyone, and the situation is changing daily. Canopy is committed and prepared to address the evolving risk posed by COVID-19. Canopy’s business continuity plan is designed to protect the health and safety of our people, our clients and our communities, to maintaining our business operations and to ensuring clients receive the highest quality service without disruption.

Our business continuity plan includes operational readiness, employee mobility, infrastructure resiliency and information security.

Canopy has established the following mitigation strategies to ensure essential operations can continue during the spread of COVID-19.

   • The majority of Canopy’s workforce can work remotely and provides the equipment, connectivity and applicable applications, and resources. This ensures the long-term viability of Canopy’s core business and offerings, regardless of restrictions on office accessibility. We have implemented a work-from-home policy to promote the health and safety of our employees, their families and our communities.

   • We have evaluated essential operations and designed plans to reassign staff from non-critical functions if employee absence is a threat.

   • We have reviewed our IT infrastructure to ensure our system is able to support an increase in remote work and manage any added load to client facing or service delivery technology that may occur.

   • We have shifted our primary direct client service to include the use of video, telephonic and digital counseling modalities.
