This course provides the foundation of Mental Health Support & Response training. It also provides in-depth education on how to support an individual experiencing a mental health crisis and how mental health issues present in the workplace. Participants will learn how to approach the topics of mental health and substance use in the workplace, the impact on work, and how we can create safer work environments for all employees. The course concludes with a review of how to take care of oneself when supporting others as well as the resources available to support mental health.
