The Role of Leaders in Reducing Work-Life Stress
This webinar will review work and family stressors that affect employees and the support that can be provided by HR managers. Research has demonstrated that employee work–life stress is related to poor health behaviors including smoking, poor food choices, low levels of exercise, decreased sleep time, and several chronic health outcomes. Bringing managers directly into the dialogue about workplace interventions to improve health is critical. Organizational intervention can decrease turnover, increase job satisfaction, and improve health. Dr. Hammer will share proven innovative approaches and interventions organizations can implement to reduce work–life stress.
